Tell us a bit about yourself? What are your passions?
My name is Shannon, I’m originally from England and I had been living in Sydney before living between bali and England in the past year (oh and im a leo). I am a holistic health mindset coach and a model where I help others in the creative, modelling and influencing industry become a better version of themselves daily though my online wellness members club GUIDE ME GLOW. It’s my passion to share how important implementing daily wellness habits can change your confidence, relationship with yourself and in turn, your success.

What would be your top 5 must have superfoods for that inner glow for the soul and body?
Your current go to recipe at the moment?
My current go to recipe is a hard one! I’ve been creating so many new recipes for the guide me glow members club, but lately it’s definitely been my pumpkin spiced protein smoothie, it literally tastes like pumpkin pie but in a smoothie and still packed with nutrients, protein and healthy fats for balanced energy and glow!
Typical day in the life starts with my morning routine! A must to prime my day. I always wake up and complete my gua sha skincare routine whilst listening to my affirmations. On an ideal day I meditate, journal, look over my goals, visualise and read. Getting outside and moving my body is super important to help me feel productive and energized so I either go on a walk or do a workout at the gym. I dive in my work, whether it’s shooting content, creating guides, meditations etc. I make sure I am fuelling myself with healthy meals along the way too. For a break I will head to the gym if I haven’t already and end with a sauna session. Cooking dinner has been such a therapeutic experience for me as I just put on a podcast and zone out! I then do a bit more work, upload on socials and then read and sometimes journal before putting on a sleep meditation and fall asleep!
What does “self-care” mean to you? And what are your “self-love” practices and rituals?
Self care to me means putting yourself first and doing the thing you said you were going to do even if it’s hard. It’s also showing up for yourself daily, being compassionate on the days that don’t go to plan and never giving up on yourself. Self care is definitely more than just the physical of working out and doing your skincare, it’s also working out your mind and making sure you are always growing and learning more about yourself. Delving into your shadow side and traumas that have been subconsciously holding you back, especially when it’s hard. It’s understanding that it’s not a linear journey and it’s not about perfection.
My self love practices lie within my daily habits. People think you need to do one massive thing to love yourself but everything we do is an opportunity to show our love for ourselves. Whether it’s the small things like making myself a matcha and having time to sit, reflect and journal , cooking a healthy meal to fuel my body, saying the affirmations to myself in the mirror. throughout the day I will do daily check ins too. if I find myself reacting in a way that feels like my wounded self, I’ll acknowledge it without needing to fix it straight away. Give yourself compassion! I make sure I give myself time and space for myself to wind down, do the hobby’s I love without needing to see an outcome such as dancing and being creative.
